Pursue Your Passion in Cosmetology School
Our cosmetology program is perfect for students with a passion for hair, skin, and nails, who are dedicated to learning new skills and putting in hard work. As a student in our cosmetology school, you’ll experience a custom curriculum that can prepare you for the State Board of Cosmetology requirements. With a comprehensive quality education and hands-on training, you can develop skills ranging from basics to the latest trends.
Students run an active and diverse clinic floor and provide services like hair cutting, nail art, facials, and more to 1500+ monthly clients. All services are provided by students under the supervision of our experienced and passionate licensed instructors to give helpful feedback every step of the way. You can gain valuable hands-on experience with different hair and skin types on both men and women.
If you’re passionate about all things beauty, an education in cosmetology will prepare you for a bright future as a professional. Learn to grow your following on social media, book real clients, and gain hands-on experience in our student run clinic.
The cosmetology program’s curriculum goes above and beyond the requirements of the State Board of Cosmetology so that you’re prepared for graduation.
Scheduling Options Are Available!
If you’re worried about fitting cosmetology school into a busy schedule, we offer several options to start your journey into the beauty industry.
As a student in our program, you can choose from morning or afternoon classes, half time or full time, and start working on practicing your skills when it works best for you. The cosmetology program consists of 1,600 clock hours, including practice on actual guests, and we’re determined to help you meet your goals throughout.

When graduation is around the corner, you can also benefit from our career advisors. While we can’t guarantee employment, we have contacts with local businesses and do our best to help place students as soon as possible.

Cosmetology Program FAQs
Our cosmetology program offers start dates throughout the year, so you can kick off your education whenever you’re ready! Typically, we offer new class schedules each month, but feel free to call the school for more information about when you’re planning on attending.
It takes 1,600 clock hours to complete the cosmetology program. If you’re worried about fitting an education into your current schedule, we offer both full and half time courses during the day or evening. We’re flexible, so you can work at the pace that works best for you! For more information on scheduling, call our office and we’ll be happy to go over all of our program options.
We work with students from all different backgrounds and levels of experience! In order to apply, you must have a GED or high school diploma, and complete the $25 admissions packet. Your application includes an interview and essay, to ensure you’re a great fit for Academy of Hair Design.
How to Enroll
If you’re ready to enroll in the cosmetology program, we’re here to help you get started. First, be sure to schedule a tour of the campus! Call us, or fill out the form below and we’ll put you on our schedule ASAP. As you get a better feel for the school, we’ll walk and talk with you to learn more about your goals, and passion for cosmetology. Think of this first introduction as an informal interview.
Next, you’ll want to fill out your application packet and be prepared to write a short essay on why you believe you’d be a great fit for the program.
Once we’ve approved your application, we’re here to help you with questions about tuition, financial aid, scheduling, and everything you’ll need to know before classes start.

Hair Design
We elevate hair design to an art form. Experience a comprehensive education and diverse client experience with hands-on training in the fundamentals of cutting, coloring, highlights, and more.
Esthetics
Go with the glow! Become proficient in the foundational skills of skin care needs including eyelashing, facials, waxing, make up, body treatments, masks, skin analysis, and more.
