NEVADA STATE BOARD OF COSMETOLOGY LICENSE INFORMATION
Graduates of the Academy of Hair Design may obtain a license in cosmetology, nail technology, or esthetics in the state of Nevada. Students must complete the requirements listed below. Please contact the Nevada Board of Cosmetology for more information. Requirements COSMETOLOGIST: 1800 hours HAIR DESIGNER: 1200 hours ESTHETICIAN: 600 hours NAIL TECHNICIAN: 500 hours Additional Requirements All applicants must be at least 17 years of age and have a high school diploma or ged. The admissions packet must be purchased, completed, and submitted for approval.
