Beauty School Scholarships
Cosmetology school grants and scholarships are most often awarded on the basis of needs and disadvantaged
backgrounds. Some grants are awarded on the basis of merits. Talent and grades also play a big role in
many grants. Below are just a few Cosmetology scholarship options.
Pell Grants
Federal grants are generally awarded to undergraduate students. Award amounts usually change yearly,
depending on the federal government budget. All grants are awarded to students with financial needs.
Unlike loans, grants are not repaid upon completion of the program. See the FAFSA Website for more information.
Ace Grant Scholarship
The American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) partners with industry sponsors to offer scholarships
and grants to deserving Cosmetology students. Prospective students should request information by calling

High School Scholarships
High school seniors are eligible to apply for the Academy of Hair Design High School Scholarship programs.
The programs are scholarshipped for Cosmetology, Hair Design, Esthetics and Nail Technology. The deadline
to apply is September 1st. The scholarships are available to high school graduates with a diploma.
Start dates for the scholarship programs are in the months of June, July, August and September of the
