DISCLAIMER – A one-time NON-REFUNDABLE application fee of $25.00 must be made (online) in order to submit your application. Please do not submit an application unless you have a high school diploma or High School Equivalency that is recognized by the Department of Education. If you are unsure if your high school diploma or High School Equivalency is acceptable please Contact Us or call 702.878.1185 before submitting your application. The application expires one (1) year from date of purchase. You must be at least seventeen (17) years of age to apply. I understand all instruction & testing is in English only. Academy of Hair Design does not accept Ability to Benefit Students or adjusted diplomas. Online high school diplomas are NOT accepted, other than but not limited to the following: NVVA, Connections Academy, Odyssey, Penn Foster, Delta, and Beacon Academy. Online diplomas not listed are subject to management approval. This school is not open enrollment. All applicants will be thoroughly interviewed before acceptance.

Everything You Need to Know About Enrollment
Enrolling in your program of choice includes an admissions packet (available online or in-person) and an energetic interview where we’ll discover your passions and goals for a future in cosmetology. We’ll walk you through what it takes to be a future graduate and beauty professional before a final decision is made on enrollment. We also have professional financial aid experts who will advise you on tuition options and available aid as you pursue your education.
Enrollment Process FAQs
Academy of Hair Design in Las Vegas and the State Board of Cosmetology in Nevada requires you to be 17 years of age, have a high school diploma (or high school equivalency,) and a social security number in order to attend.
We have several programs to prepare you for a variety of future careers in the beauty industry, including:

Yes! For more than 50 years, our school has earned its accreditation through the NACCAS. Because we are an officially accredited school, we are able to offer financial aid such as Pell Grants, and other forms of federal assistance for those who qualify.

Cosmetology

Hair Design
We elevate hair design to an art form. Experience a comprehensive education and diverse client experience with hands-on training in the fundamentals of cutting, coloring, highlights, and more.
