Each of our programs is tailored to produce reliable, licensed professionals in an atmosphere designed to function like a real-world salon. What to Expect on Your Beauty School Tour
On your tour, a career planner will walk you through our facility while learning about your specific goals and sharing details on our curriculum, plus any requirements and next steps to getting started. The tour is all about you and what you want for your future — we’ll even dive into tailoring a program to fit your schedule and pricing needs!
During your visit, you will also be able to observe current students and instructors learning in the classrooms and working on clients on the student-run floor.

Everything You Need to Know About Enrollment
Enrolling in your program of choice includes an admissions packet (available online or in-person) and an energetic interview where we’ll discover your passions and goals for a future in cosmetology. We’ll walk you through what it takes to be a future graduate and beauty professional before a final decision is made on enrollment. We also have professional financial aid experts who will advise you on tuition options and available aid as you pursue your education.
Enrollment Process FAQs
Academy of Hair Design in Las Vegas and the State Board of Cosmetology in Nevada requires you to be 17 years of age, have a high school diploma (or high school equivalency,) and a social security number in order to attend.

Yes! For more than 50 years, our school has earned its accreditation through the NACCAS. Because we are an officially accredited school, we are able to offer financial aid such as Pell Grants, and other forms of federal assistance for those who qualify.
